Tag Filters

In the Vault left sidebar, a Tags section shows all tags used in the current vault. Click any tag to filter the view to only show files with that tag.
Alex’s screenshot note: Take a screenshot of the Vault sidebar showing the Tags section with 3-4 tags listed, and the detail panel on the right showing tags on a selected file.

Searching

Use the search bar in the Vault header to search files by name. Results update as you type. The Brain AI searches vault content semantically — meaning it finds documents based on meaning, not just filename. Ask the Brain a question and it will find relevant vault documents even if the exact words don’t match. Example: Asking “What are our sample handling procedures?” will find a document titled “Lab SOP v3.pdf” if it contains sample handling instructions, even though the words don’t match exactly.

AI Summary

Each file has an auto-generated AI summary visible in the detail panel. This summary is what the Brain uses for initial retrieval before diving into the full document content.
