How Meeting Todos Work

When you analyze a meeting, the AI identifies action items from the conversation. You can extract these as to-dos with one click.

Extracting Tasks

1

Open a meeting

Go to a meeting detail page with completed AI analysis.
2

Click Extract as Tasks

In the Analysis tab, click the Extract as Tasks button near the Action Items section.
3

Tasks are created

A parent todo is created with the meeting title, and child todos are created for each action item.

Meeting Parent Todos

In the To-Dos page, meeting-extracted tasks appear as collapsible groups:
  • Parent todo — The meeting title with a progress bar (e.g., “2/5 complete”)
  • Child todos — Individual action items nested underneath
Click the parent to expand/collapse the child tasks.
Alex’s screenshot note: Take a screenshot of the To-Dos list view showing a meeting parent todo expanded to reveal 3-4 child action items. Show the progress indicator on the parent.

What Gets Extracted

The AI extracts:
  • Task title — Description of the action item
  • Assignee — Who was assigned (matched to your team if possible)
  • Priority — Inferred from the conversation context
  • Source badge — Shows “AI Meeting” to indicate automated extraction

Auto-Sync Setting

In Settings → Meeting Intelligence, you can enable:
  • Auto-sync todos — Automatically extract to-dos when a meeting is analyzed
  • Default todo priority — Set the default priority for extracted tasks
Enable auto-sync so you never forget to create tasks from meeting action items.
