Overview

The RDML Viewer imports standard RDML (Real-time PCR Data Markup Language) files and provides interactive visualization of qPCR data.

Importing Data

Upload RDML File

  1. Navigate to the RDML Viewer
  2. Click Upload and select your .rdml file
  3. The file is parsed and data is displayed

Load from Synthetic Data

You can also load data generated by the Synthetic Data Generator:
  1. Go to Synthetic Data → History
  2. Click Load in RDML Viewer on any run

Plate Layout

Interactive well grid showing:
  • Well positions (A1-H12)
  • Cq/Ct values per well
  • Sample name and target
  • Dye/fluorophore
Click any well to view its amplification curve.

Curves Viewer

Amplification curves display:
  • Fluorescence intensity vs. cycle number
  • Threshold line for Cq determination
  • Color-coded by target or sample
  • Zoom and pan controls
Alex’s screenshot note: Take a screenshot of the RDML Viewer showing the plate layout on the left and amplification curves on the right for selected wells.

Quantization

  • Automatic Cq/Ct determination
  • Standard curve fitting (if standards included)
  • Concentration calculations
  • Efficiency metrics

Gene Expression

  • ΔΔCt relative quantification
  • Reference gene normalization
  • Fold-change calculations
  • Statistical analysis
