Starting a New Conversation

There are several ways to start a new chat:
  1. New Chat button — Click the New Chat button in the sidebar (visible when you’re on the Brain page)
  2. Suggestion chips — Click any of the four suggestion prompts on the welcome screen
  3. Just type — Start typing in the input field on a blank Brain page
Every conversation is automatically saved after the first message exchange.

Managing Conversations

Renaming a Chat

Conversations are auto-titled based on the first message. To rename:
  1. Find the chat in the sidebar under Recents or inside a Project
  2. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the chat
  3. Select Rename
  4. Type the new name and press Enter
Alex’s screenshot note: Take a screenshot showing the three-dot menu open on a chat in the sidebar, with Rename, Move to folder, and Delete options visible.

Deleting a Chat

To delete a conversation:
  1. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) on the chat in the sidebar, or
  2. Click the Delete button in the chat header (trash icon)
Deleting a conversation is permanent. All messages and attachments in that conversation will be removed.

Sharing a Chat

To share a conversation with your team:
  1. Open the conversation
  2. Click the Share button in the chat header
  3. A shareable link is copied to your clipboard
Shared chats can be viewed by anyone on your team with the link.

Chat History

All your conversations appear in the sidebar, organized into two sections:

Projects

Conversations assigned to a project folder. See Projects for details.

Recents

Conversations not assigned to any project, sorted by most recent activity.

Searching Chats

Use the search bar at the top of the sidebar to filter chats by title:
  1. Click the search input or press ⌘K / Ctrl+K
  2. Type part of the conversation title
  3. Results filter in real-time
  4. Press Escape to clear the search

Drag and Drop

You can organize chats by dragging them:
  • Drag a chat onto a Project — moves it into that project folder
  • Drag a chat onto “Recents” — removes it from its current project
Alex’s screenshot note: Take a screenshot showing a chat being dragged from Recents onto a Project folder in the sidebar. Show the drop highlight on the folder.

Conversation Context

Each conversation maintains its own context window. The Brain remembers everything said earlier in the conversation and can reference previous messages. For longer conversations, the AI automatically manages context to stay within limits while keeping the most relevant information.

Project Context Injection

When a conversation belongs to a project with a Goal and Background Context set, that context is automatically injected into every message, giving the Brain specialized knowledge for that project.

Personal Context

Your personal context (role, industry, objectives) from Settings → Intelligence Context is also injected into every conversation, so the Brain understands who you are and what you care about.
